Stephen Yip

Mr. Stephen Yip was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2005. He has been handling different areas of litigation including criminal litigations, divorce matters, employment law, personal injury cases and general civil litigation. Family litigation is his expertise and he acts frequently as the advocate for clients at trials in the Family Court. For non-contentious matters, Stephen focuses on advising and acting for clients in conveyancing transactions and commercial deals. He also has extensive experience in tenancy matters and intellectual property issues.

Apart from his legal career, Stephen has been a part time lecturer for the Department of Professional Legal Education of the University of Hong Kong since 2019. He had been appointed as a part time lecturer of the School of Law of the City University of Hong Kong in 2020 teaching LLB and JD students Family Law. He is also one of the contributors to the contents of the Community Legal Information Centre (www.clic.org.hk).
